Groundnut powder/ 500g

Uganda´s groundnuts are characteristic of having red skin with a reddish-gray hue. Groundnuts are not nuts at all, botanically speaking they are actually legumes. This is completely different from peanut butter however, as peanut butter is made from roasted peanuts whereas the groundnut powder is made from raw groundnuts. When cooked, the ´binyebwa´is smooth and ashy pink. The sauce out of this powder is purely vegan.

Groundnuts are much like avocadoes, rich in monounsaturated fatty acids such as oleic acids. They contain manganese,and  carbohydrates.
